Review: Revlon Cherries in the Snow Lipstick
*Purchased by me*
Hi Guys!
I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving celebration. The Hubs, little Tot, and I had an awesome time gorging and hanging out with the family. Today I wanted to talk about the newest addition to my lipstick stash and that is Revlon's Cherries In The Snow. This iconic lipstick was first released in 1953 and it's original ad featured one of the world's first modeling icon, Dorian Leigh. Cherries In The Snow is part of Revlon's Super Lustrous line and falls under the "creme" category. I wore this for the first time for Thanksgiving and immediately fell in love with it.
A few words came to mind as soon as I applied it onto my lips; creamy, extremely pigmented, no weird makeup scent (I'm side eyeing you Maybelline!!) and bold! I love it so much. On me this looks like a bright but wearable Fuchsia. It does leave an even stain behind on the lips as it fades so no need to worry about the dreaded lined lips look when it is gone. Formula felt nice and hydrating while on the lips; didn't dry out during wear time. Overall, this was a great find. It's a nice Fuchsia that totally perks up the face. Great for an everyday look all year around but I especially adore it for the holidays since I'm a Fuchsia lover at heart.

(Natural lighting): Top swatch consists of one swipe and the bottom swatch consists of three. Pretty, right?!?
And here are a few FOTN shots of me wearing this guy on Thanksgiving Day.
